Welcome to Willow Hollow Apothecary!! Healing • Slow Living • Handmade Comforts
Creating with intention, one quiet moment at a time 🤍

My name is Jen, and I’m the heart and soul behind Be Creative with Me! Crafting has always been my escape—a way to quiet my anxious mind and find joy in creativity. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I know how overwhelming life can feel, but through Chalk Couture, I’ve found a way to bring calm, confidence, and connection into my world. Whether I’m teaching hands-on workshops in person or leading online classes, I love sharing my passion and helping others discover the therapeutic power of crafting. My mission is to make creativity fun, accessible, and stress-free—because I believe that art isn’t about perfection, it’s about expression, healing, and joy.

Well… I guess it’s official. 🖤🌙
Today I picked up the keys to 107 — the new home of Willow Hollow Apothecary.
What started as a little idea has slowly grown into something I never quite expected: an actual space where I can create in the back and welcome you into Willow Hollow in the front.
There’s a lot of work ahead—shelves to build, products to make, boxes to move, and a whole lot of figuring things out as I go. But today, I'm just going to enjoy this little moment.
Willow Hollow has a home. 🦉🌿
I can't wait to show you what 107 becomes.

Something new is coming to Willow Hollow… 🌙🌿

The Hollow has been growing, changing, and quietly making room for something new.

I’m not quite ready to show you everything just yet… but a new chapter is about to begin, and I can’t wait to bring you along for it. 🤎

Same magic. More space. A brighter chapter.

Stay tuned… the Hollow is growing. 🌙✨

🌿 HOLISTIC WELLNESS MONDAY 🌿

A few days ago, I found myself thinking about the seasons and how naturally the world moves through each one.

Spring brings new beginnings. The snow melts, the grass turns green, and tiny buds begin appearing on the trees.

Summer is warm and full of life. Everything is growing, blooming, and soaking up the sunshine.

Then autumn arrives. The air cools, the leaves change color, and nature begins to slow down and let go.

Winter brings quiet and rest. The trees stand bare, animals hibernate, and the earth waits patiently for spring to return.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized that people experience seasons, too.

We have seasons of awakening and beginning again. Seasons of growth, energy, and connection. Seasons when we need to release what no longer belongs in our lives. And seasons when our bodies, minds, and hearts simply need rest.

We were never meant to bloom all year long.

As I begin my holistic wellness coaching education, I’m learning that wellness is about so much more than eating well or exercising. It means looking at the whole person—our body, mind, emotions, spirit, relationships, and environment.

All these areas are connected. When one part is struggling, we often feel its effects in other parts of our lives, too.

Every Monday, I’d like to share a little of what I’m learning, along with gentle reflections and simple practices that may help us care for our whole selves through every season of life.

So today, I invite you to pause and ask yourself:

🌱 Am I awakening or beginning again?

☀️ Am I growing and flourishing?

🍂 Am I slowing down or releasing?

❄️ Am I resting, healing, or quietly preparing for what comes next?

There is no wrong season to be in. Wherever you are today, meet yourself there with grace.

What season are you in right now? 🌿

This week at Willow Hollow Apothecary, big things are happening! 🌙✨

But first, I'd like to introduce Twilight Hollow.
Where daylight lingers and evening begins.

Inspired by the colors of a prairie sunset, Twilight Hollow features layers of blue, violet, gold, and cream with a fruity blend of pineapple, kiwi, and rainbow sherbet.

This is also a special batch for me—it's the first loaf created in my new studio space.

More exciting updates are coming this week, so stay tuned!

There’s something deeply satisfying about going back to simpler ways of doing things. 🤍
My dad was telling me the other day that my great grandma used to make soap from lye years ago. And honestly… standing in my kitchen this morning cutting up beef fat to render into tallow, I couldn’t help but think about how different life used to be.
Slower. More intentional. More connected to the things we made with our own hands.
People used what they had. They created from scratch. Traditions were passed down through generations, one recipe and one lesson at a time.
Today I started rendering beef fat into tallow for future soaps, balms, and handmade goods here at Willow Hollow Apothecary. Slowly learning old-world skills and bringing a little piece of that simpler lifestyle back into my own home and business. ✨
This may just look like a crockpot full of beef fat to some people… but to me, it feels like reconnecting with the past and creating with intention, patience, and heart.
And honestly? I’m pretty excited about it. 🤎

Big News — We’re Growing!

Be Creative with Me is stepping into a new chapter as Grace & Co – Be Creative with Me.

Along with crafting and workshops, I’ll now be sharing handmade soaps, candles, self-care creations, and gentle coaching support focused on healing, creativity, and giving ourselves grace.

This space has always been about connection, creativity, and community — and now it’s growing into something even more meaningful.
Same heart. Same community. Just more ways to create, heal, and connect.
Thank you for being here with me on this journey. I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Her little hand in mine is a moment I never want to forget.
They grow so fast. One day they’re reaching for your finger, the next they’re walking ahead of you full of wonder and confidence.
Addy reminds me what love looks like in its purest form.
