Eliminating cancers affecting women remains at the core of our Foundation’s mission. We are honored to support the work of Dr. Andrey Ivanov, Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at Emory University who received a 2022 MKAF cancer research grant. His research efforts propose a new approach to control breast cancer by targeting molecular interactions that promote growth of cancerous cells in hopes of leading to the discovery of new forms of therapy.

We are pleased to announce $1 million in grants awarded to ten researchers who are conducting groundbreaking research in cancers that primarily affect women from the country’s top cancer research institutes and universities. The grants fund innovative, translational cancer research efforts to help with better detection, prognosis and treatment of cancer.
