When we first moved here I was terrified. I questioned everything. I was just fresh out of back surgery wondering if we made the right choice. Am I going to succeed here? Are we going to be able to make this work? Should I do nails or should I find something else? Do I even know who I am or what we had just done?

Meeting new people is hard, especially as an adult. I didnt know anyone around other than a few close friends ( Emily Mullin and Matthew Mullin ) who helped us gain the courage to leave Sidney and who have supported us and helped us through it all.

I was lost in my own world, anxiety so high I literally could not go any where alone without having a panick attack, bawling, and ending up leaving without even getting out of my vehicle.

Then, one day I met Kayla Grace. I have yet to do her nails btw but she saw this key chain and thought of me. Thank you neighbor for being you. You have given so much of yourself to us and have allowed your kids to become some of our other kids since day 1.

Watford has been so good to me, my husband, and our kids. In 2 short months we will have been here for 2 years and I am blown away by the amount of people who are so selfless and always recommend me to other people even if they have never sat in my chair.

Life has been less than lovely this year but I have been quickly reminded who is in my corner. I am so lucky to have the best clients, coworkers, and friends.

Through the midst of hard times a little bit of gratitude can change your perception quickly. It is amazing how a simple key chain can remind you of who you are and how much you mean to others.

I am so blessed. ❤️
