8 days.

A couple weeks ago I was sitting on the floor of an empty commercial space wondering if I had completely lost my mind.

There was old carpet, paint samples, furniture projects, boxes, and a vision that only existed in my head.

Yesterday, while I was in a treatment room taking care of a client, Vincent was painting walls and bringing that vision to life. Color me surprised after I finished my client and could see my dream in real time.

And somewhere between then and now, it hit me.

This isn’t just a commercial space anymore.

This is Envy’s home.

There have been moments of excitement, moments of exhaustion, and moments where I was absolutely convinced I had ruined everything. Including the moment Walmart tried to convince me that Mountain Dew green belonged in a luxury esthetics studio. I stood there staring at that wall thinking, “Well… I’m cooked.”

Thankfully, Home Depot stepped in and delivered a green that actually feels like Envy.

There have also been moments that reminded me this dream isn’t mine alone anymore. I mentioned that a particular shade was “an Envy color,” and Beau quietly decided that meant Mom needed it. He spent his own money on a gallon of paint and brought it home without being asked. Moments like that remind me that the people who love you often believe in your dreams just as much as you do.

Now the walls are coming together, the flooring project starts today, and for the first time I can stand in this space and see it.

Not just imagine it.

See it.

A huge thank you to Vincent for putting up with every paint sample, every furniture project, every “what do you think about this?” followed by me doing it six different ways anyway, and for helping bring this space to life while I continue doing what I love most,taking care of my clients.

Thank you to Beau for believing in this dream enough to invest in it himself.

What started as a vision is becoming a reality.

A little Envy update… 💚🖤

I’ve had quite a few people asking about booking appointments, and I appreciate your patience while I work through this transition.

My new booking page should be live by the middle of next week, and I’ll share it as soon as it’s ready.

Until then, you’ll still find me taking appointments through my current Gloss booking page through June 30th.

And then…

On July 1st, Envy opens her doors.

In the meantime, you’ll find me covered in paint, renovating a studio, assembling furniture, moving things around for the hundredth time, and bringing old pieces back to life one project at a time.

This space is truly becoming something special.

And can we talk about the vintage gem I rescued for the studio? To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. What I thought would be a fun project has turned into one of my favorite pieces, and the color is absolutely to die for. Consider me happily surprised and fully embracing my vintage nostalgia era.

Every day this space looks a little less like a renovation and a little more like the vision I’ve carried in my head for years.

Some people see paint cans, furniture projects, and unfinished walls.

I see every late night, every setback, every lesson, every client who trusted me, every person who encouraged me, every risk I took, and every time I refused to give up.

What started as a dream years ago became a goal. That goal became a business. And now that business is finally getting a home of its own.

If you’ve ever sat in my treatment room, you know I believe that if I’m not educating, I’m not doing my job. The new Envy is being built around that philosophy—where beauty meets science, education, confidence, and a little bit of magic.

The walls aren’t finished.
The furniture isn’t finished.
The decor isn’t finished.

But the foundation is.

Thank you to every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of this journey. You helped build this right alongside me.

July 1st isn’t just the opening of a studio.

It’s the beginning of everything I’ve been working toward.

Today I completed the Be There Certificate through the Born This Way Foundation.

As an esthetician, people often come to me for skincare, waxing, facials, or beauty services—but what I’ve learned over the years is that many clients are also carrying stress, grief, self-doubt, anxiety, and life’s everyday challenges.

While I’m not a therapist, I do believe in creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Continuing my education allows me to better serve the people who trust me with their care, and that’s something I’ll never stop investing in.

This one is a little extra special to me because my dad was a huge Lady Gaga fan. He always encouraged me to keep learning, keep growing, and keep helping people. I think he’d get a kick out of seeing this certificate hanging on the wall at Envy.

Thank you to every client who has shared a piece of their story with me. Thank you for trusting me, supporting my business, and allowing me to be part of your journey. You remind me every day that this work is about so much more than skin.

Here’s to continuing to learn, grow, and show up for others.

Last night I received an email from a client that brought me to tears.

I screenshotted it and saved it—not because I need praise, but because I know there will be days when owning a business feels hard. Days when I’m exhausted, questioning myself, worried about the future, or wondering if all the sacrifices are worth it.

On those days, I’ll look back at that email.

As an esthetician, the work I do is often associated with facials, waxing, skincare products, treatments, and results. While those things are important, I’ve always believed this career is about so much more than skin.

For many of my clients, their appointment is one of the few times each month that they truly take for themselves. It’s a chance to breathe, to rest, to feel cared for, to heal, and to remember that they are worthy of that time and investment.

Being someone’s esthetician isn’t just about helping them achieve healthy skin.

It’s about creating a safe space where they can show up exactly as they are. Sometimes we talk about skincare. Sometimes we celebrate victories. Sometimes we work through heartbreak, grief, stress, or life’s challenges. Sometimes we simply sit in peace and quiet.

The greatest privilege of this career isn’t transforming skin.

It’s being trusted with a small piece of someone’s story.

Last night reminded me that the work I do matters in ways that can’t be measured in before-and-after photos, service totals, or booking numbers.

To every client who has trusted me with their skin, their stories, their struggles, and their healing journey….

Thank you.

You may come to Envy for a facial or a wax, but I hope you leave feeling seen, valued, cared for, and a little more confident than when you walked in.
