Mayor McClintock has issued a Proclamation of Snow Emergency that will begin at 12AM on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The full text of the proclamation is included with this post. The mayor is asking all residents to limit travel to emergencies during the storm, and to use off street parking wherever possible. Both of which will help the DPW crew get us cleaned up as safely and quickly as possible. Also, he asks that you check on your elderly and mobility impaired neighbors to make sure they are safe and warm. This has the potential to be a serious weather event in Watsontown, so we ask all of you to be patient with the plow guys, go get your milk, bread, and eggs today or tomorrow, and stay home afterwards if you can.
