We refreshed her roots using Redken Color Fusion, then went in with Shades EQ through the rest to revive her tone and bring that richness back.

Protective styles are supposed to PROTECT your hair — not have your edges fighting for their life or your braids hanging on by a prayer 😭
Healthy hair will ALWAYS come before the style in my chair. Speak up about tension, take those braids down when it’s time, moisturize that scalp, and PLEASE let me cut those ends sis 😂✂️

This weekend I walked in my first hair show ever and it was an amazing experience ! They were so many talented people and I was inspired in every room I entered . I networked , learned , saw and took home so many lessons from this experience . I placed in the top 5. I didn’t win 1st place there but in my heart I did . I’ve been stepping out of comfort zone and exploring this beauty industry.
I did her makeup , built her outfit and I’ve never built a headpiece and I did this from scratch with chicken wire ! Next time we going bigger , better , more executed , the whole 9 !!!
