Hair Be Gone Electrolysis

Hi everyone! We recently added a new poster to my room and I couldn’t help but share it here as well-it’s too cute! I also enjoyed a beautiful picnic during lunch today, which was a nice reminder to wear sunscreen! We can’t practice electrolysis on sunburnt skin.

Last week as we were cleaning the office for the weekend, we made an unexpected friend! This raccoon, now fondly known as Roy, was trapped in the garbage after trying to escape the rain. Lisa immediately jumped into action, creating a makeshift ladder out of the objects we had around us. Roy had little interest in the goldfish I had to offer, but he did seem quite content with us. After crossing our fingers that he’d actually take the initiative to leave the bin, we are happy to report that Roy made it out! Hopefully he is snacking somewhere warm, dry, and safe, away from humans and other predators 😊

A belated Mother’s Day appreciation-
I wanted to take a moment to publicly appreciate my wonderful mother. My mom is the sweetest, most intelligent, strong minded woman I know. She’s got a laugh that’s impossibly contagious, and a heart that never stops giving. I am so blessed to see her every time I look in the mirror. I love you momma 🫶
I would be no where near the person I am today without her. She’s taught me how to love, forgive, and relentlessly have fun. I know the importance of spreading laughter because she’s never been afraid to giggle. I always strive for the best because I know she’s always wanted the best for me, and she is always building stairs under my feet so that I can reach my goals. Importantly, I know that when I inevitably fail, biting off more than I can chew, she’ll be there to catch me, because she always has been.
Mom, this year or so with our business has been an incredible opportunity and it would have been beyond impossible without you. Words aren’t enough to describe how much I love you, how brilliant you are, and what my time shared with you means to me. I would be half the electrologist I am today if I didn’t have you alongside me in school, urging us to study and always catering to my crankiness. The fun bathroom trips debriefing about the last few hours, giggling on the car rides home, and singing all of our favorite songs. Each memory with you is priceless. I appreciate so deeply how you’ve always taken every worry off of my plate so that my mind can focus on the big things. You’re the force behind all of my success. You understand my mind and love me through and through, unconditionally. I couldn’t have a better mom, so thank you.

Hello everyone! This week marks the beginning of the Main Street construction in Waunakee. Currently, we’re not sure how long it will last for. We wanted to make an announcement so that everyone can plan for potential lane closures and delays. Please, plan accordingly and drive safe!

Merry Christmas everybody! We shared a wonderful day filled with laughter and our family, and we hope everyone else has the chance to do the same. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again starting Monday!

This morning, when we entered our office, there was a sweet surprise from the team at Badgerland Properties waiting for us—a gorgeous box of delicious chocolates! Thank you, Badgerland team, for this fabulous Christmas present. We look forward to trying them all!
