HBC CLIENTS IT’S BEEN A MINUTE! 🤍

I just wanted to pop in, say hello, and share a few updates and announcements with you all!

First and foremost, I have received an overwhelming amount of messages from my current clients, along with SO many inquiries from potential new clients. I cannot express how grateful I am for all the love and support, but I also want to ask for a little patience as I navigate through it all!

Between my personal platforms, Hair by Chey, and Salon Opal, I am now managing THREE separate sets of text messages, Facebook messages, Instagram DMs, emails, and TikTok messages. You can only imagine how quickly those notifications add up! 😂

I promise I am doing my best to get back to each and every one of you. If you haven’t heard back from me yet, please know that I am not intentionally ignoring you!

A little reminder about my time outside the salon…

One thing I have always taken seriously is maintaining a healthy balance between my career and my family. Lately, I have found myself slipping into the habit of answering messages, working on salon-related tasks, and handling business responsibilities during the little time I have at home.

While I understand that this is a new chapter of business ownership and comes with a whole new set of responsibilities, I also know how important it is to be present for my family.

I absolutely LOVE what I do, but I am also a wife and a mama, and those are two roles I never want to feel like I am putting on the back burner. 🤍

Moving forward, I am going to be more intentional about keeping business-related tasks within my working hours and allowing myself to truly unplug when I am home. I appreciate your understanding if my response times are a little longer than usual!

And on top of all that… WEDDING SEASON! 💍

We are officially in the THICK of wedding season! Every Friday and Saturday is reserved for weddings, and it has been pretty much nonstop since June. My schedule is continuing to fill up with bridal parties from now through November!

Between being behind the chair, traveling for weddings, running Salon Opal, managing multiple businesses’ worth of messages, and being a mama…

Let’s just say, MAMA IS TIRED! 😂

But in the best way possible. I am incredibly grateful for this season of life, even when it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day.

NOW, FOR A LITTLE BOOKING UPDATE! ✨

Yes, it is true… I have somehow managed to book out until MID-DECEMBER! HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?! 🥹

I am genuinely so honored and flattered by the amount of love and support I have received. To everyone who has continued to sit in my chair, referred a friend, supported my business, or stopped in to see my new space THANK YOU!

With that being said, I absolutely DO have a waitlist! Life happens, schedules change, and cancellations do come up! If you’re hoping to get in before December, I highly encourage you to hop on my waitlist. Better to be safe than sorry! 🤍

Since opening Salon Opal, life has been nothing short of amazing. I am still finding my groove, learning new responsibilities, and navigating all the little things that come with being a salon owner. It has been a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t trade this chapter for anything!

Thank you for continuing to support me, trusting me with your hair, cheering me on through this new adventure, and giving me a little grace as I figure out how to balance it all.

✨ SALON OPAL IS OFFICIALLY A LITTLE OVER ONE MONTH OLD! ✨

And truly, I don’t even know how to put the last month into words.

The support I’ve received since opening these doors has been beyond anything I could have imagined. The flowers, gifts, messages, thoughtful words, encouragement, appointments booked, posts shared, and every person who has simply cheered me on, I’ve felt ALL of it. 🤍

Opening Salon Opal was one of the biggest leaps I’ve ever taken, and this past month has reminded me over and over again that the scary transition was SO worth it. I can do this. We’re doing this. 🥹

And somehow, in ONE MONTH, Salon Opal has welcomed THREE incredible ladies to the team.

Yes… THREE. 👀😉

I don’t think I could have dreamed up a better beginning for this little salon. Watching it go from an idea in my head, to an empty space, to a place filled with clients, laughter, talented women, and so much excitement for what’s ahead has been pretty surreal.

So THANK YOU. To my clients, my family, my girls at the salon, this community, and everyone who has supported Salon Opal in ways big and small, you are the reason this first month has been what it has.
