✨Hello beautiful people ✨

With summer wrapping up, I wanted to share some updates for the upcoming months.

When I first started doing hair, I KNEW that this was a career I would absolutely love.

I started my own business 3 years ago and I couldn't have imagined doing anything different. Having the ability to be creative and build real relationships with clients has been the most incredible and fulfilling experience.

Two months before my second year in business, I tragically lost my 15 year old son.

I thought I wouldn't survive.
I was sure my business was done.
I lost myself in grief and apathy.

You all stayed.

Then, I began advocating.
I began sharing our story.
I started talking to your kids, your grandkids, our community, surrounding communities.
I took time away from my business to educate others so no one else had to live through this.

Still, you stayed.

Year 3, and most of you are still here with me.
Cheering me on, supporting me, sitting in my chair and talking to me like old friends.
Giving grace when my heart is hurting too much, and being safe spaces.

I'm lucky to have such amazing people on this journey with me and I hope in some small way I am able to be a positive influence in your lives.

With the school year starting, many education opportunities have come up and I will be adjusting my schedule to accommodate being there for both my clients and our communities.

I plan on keeping at least one Saturday a month open as well.
