Well… I figured it was probably time I put a face to the name. 😂🖤

If we haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Emma, a momma to a four-year-old little boy, I have 14 years experience behind the chair and proud owner of my small salon for almost six years now.

For the last four years, I’ve intentionally kept my books pretty small while raising my son. I’ve loved being able to slow down, be present for him, and still get to do what I love behind the chair.

But my baby starts preschool full-time in a week and a half… which means I’m officially stepping into a new season, and I’m actually getting a little bit of daytime availability back. 🥹

So, for the first time in a VERY long time, I’m opening my books to a limited number of new color clients!

I’m still keeping my evenings for my existing clients and my family, but if you’ve been waiting for an opening, thinking about making a color change, or you’ve just been looking for a stylist who will actually take the time to get to know you and your hair.. I’d love to meet you!

So here I am, officially reintroducing myself and opening the door for a few new faces. 🖤

💕 A little about me! I’m a wife and mom to five boys, so life is always busy, fun, and full of adventure. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, cheering my boys on at their activities, or enjoying the outdoors.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2014 and truly love helping people feel confident and beautiful. Whether it’s a fresh color, a new cut, or styling for a special occasion, I enjoy creating looks that make my clients feel their absolute best. Building relationships with my clients and helping them leave my chair feeling confident is my favorite part of what I do.

A few fun facts about me: I’m a huge coffee lover, I love beach vacations, camping, and spending time outdoors with my family. I’m also a big animal lover and enjoy making memories with the people I love most. I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your hair goals!

Let’s talk about one of my favorite things…

CURLS 🙌

It’s rare these days that a new client sits in my chair, so I was extra grateful to meet a beautiful soul today who was ready for guidance with a new cut and help understanding her curls.

She came in with an inspiration photo and knew she wanted to go shorter for manageability. During our consultation, I learned she had previously received a perm.. which explained the dryness in her ends and the inconsistent curl pattern she’d been struggling with.

A perm and natural curls behave very differently. When there’s chemical texture involved, moisture balance and pattern consistency can become unpredictable. So we had to access what the hair truly needed in this moment.

Cutting curls hits differently for me.
It’s not about straight lines or section accuracy (Paul Mitchell, forever grateful for the foundation 😅).

To me, it’s sculpture.
It’s about allowing the curls to speak, shaping them where they naturally live, and giving them freedom.

We chose to cut her hair completely dry so we could see her natural movement in real time and customize the shape to her pattern. After refining the cut, we replenished her curls with much-needed moisture and layered in some of my favorite curl creams + a soft hold gel to support areas where the pattern was inconsistent.

The result?
Confidence. Clarity. A plan. 🖤

Next steps:
• No more perms (they’re not needed).
• A consistent curly routine.
• Long-term moisture and shape maintenance.

To my clients: Your curls aren’t “difficult.” They’re misunderstood.
To my fellow stylists: Consultation is everything. Sometimes the solution isn’t more, it’s less.

Her natural pattern is going to be absolutely beautiful as we commit to the long game.

And honestly… there’s nothing better than watching curls come back to life 👏🏼

Late night salon lighting was not stopping us from capturing this 7 1/2 hour transformation 💃

•Started this process with an old school bleach wash with BlondMe premium lightener, 7 vol and clarifying shampoo (hand painted and feathered to the root)

•Full highlight with BlondMe precision 7 vol and lowlight Igora Vibrance 7-57, 7-88 & 9-7

•Root tapped with same formula as her lowlight, melted that into 10-57 and a small kick of 7-88

•Topped everything off with a 20 inch install of customized colored extensions 🤏🏼🤏🏼
