Enhancing and embracing your natural, enchanting beauty. Hello! My name is Meagan Avery Sellers. Every woman is unique and special.

I am a professional makeup artist via CMC Makeup School in Dallas and I reside in Waxahachie, Texas. My goal as a makeup artist is to make you feel like you: natural beauty with just a touch of glam. Every woman has talent, worth, and a purpose. I simply want to help bring those inside qualities to the outside. I look forward to serving you and making you feel beautiful from the inside out.

I realized I never shared about doing makeup for my sister’s weddings! Mallory got engaged in the fall of 2019, and was set to have a June 2020 wedding, but when the pandemic hit, she and Hunter decided to do a smaller wedding with immediate family only on April 25th, the perfect date (iykyk,) and then do a bigger celebration later on December 11th (their dating anniversary.) I was honored that she trusted me to do her makeup for her special days. She looked absolutely beautiful.

I had the privilege of being the makeup artist for my cousin Micah's wedding. His bride Ashley was a dream to work with. Doesn't she look beautiful?

From Debbie Ruegsegger Creative - When I started the nearly a year ago, I put a public call out to women who were also going through a dark time and needed to embrace those little flickers of light that meet us in the dark. Meagan Avery Sellers was my very first model for the series and her shoot was stunning and magical. I am honored to share her story. Read her beautiful words below:

“As someone who has been overweight most of my life, I have struggled with self image, self worth, and self esteem. I still have moments when I feel low. I feel heavy emotionally. I feel like I don’t want to do anything or go anywhere. I think it is similar to depression. I also have a fear of failure. In college, before I student-taught, I was struck with massive fear, anxiety, and depression. I felt unprepared and unworthy of being a teacher. Would I be good enough? Will the students understand everything that I am teaching them? Am I knowledgeable enough? These thoughts still plague my mind, but thankfully my administration and coworkers are fantastic; they help me have confidence and grow as a teacher. Despite the low days, and bouts of anxiety, I have grown to see myself as beautiful, talented, and worthy.

I find hope, joy, and light in many things. I try to seek the positive things, or “pearls” (as my mom calls them.) One thing I find hope in is children: the way their laughter is infectious, their innocence, the desire to just have fun. I find hope and happiness when people put aside their differences and listen to each other, and try to find balance in their complicated lives. I find hope in community, in art, in sharing a vision, in fighting through adversity together, in family and friendship, in slow nights with the ones you love, and in fast-paced adventures. Ultimately, as a Christian, my main source of hope and joy is Jesus.”

Hi friends! I’m looking to get back into the makeup business. I’m considering running a promo of some sort. What kind of promo would you like to see? Send me suggestions!
