Many of my patients ask me if they should take a Collagen supplement and if so which one is this best?

I love Ortho Molecular CollaGEN. It targets healthy skin, hair, nails, prevents bone loss, build muscle mass, improves heart and blood vessel function, helps with weight management and brain health. Not to mention man other benefits! Unlike other brand I have tried this one doesn’t taste funny and dissolves easily in hot or cold beverages. I add mine to my coffee every am. If you are going to go with a different brand here is what you need to look for.

1. Make sure the brand you choose has type 1, 2 and 3 collagen in it.
2. It should be hydrolyzed also called collagen peptides. They are smaller particles that can easily be absorbed (many product are not and therefore don’t actually get absorbed).
3. Contain magnesium, vit c, and hyaluronic acid bc the support skin health.
4. Are 3rd party tested with clinical studies to prove they do what the claim.

Interested in filler but not sure what to expect?

Here is what you need to know

1. Don’t book within 30 days of a dental appointment or procedure

2. You may feel pressure and funny noises during the procedure but this is normal

3. Swelling, bruising, and tenderness is normal for 1 week or so

4. Results are immediate but it takes a good 2 weeks for lumps and bumps to go away

5. Avoid vigorous exercise and high heat for 3 days post injections
