Manual Lymphatic Drainage should be gentle, rhythmic, and is performed using a specific technique that supports and stimulates the movement of lymphatic fluid.
At Total Body, our practitioners are certified in the Vodder Method®️ — recognized worldwide as the gold standard in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
If your previous “lymphatic massage” felt aggressive, painful, used ultra-fast strokes or focused on deep pressure, it was definitely not Vodder Method Lymphatic Drainage.
If your therapist was wearing gloves or used oil or cream to glide their hands over your body, that was not Vodder either.
