Every Tuesday, our class engages in a vitality project.

Today's project, titled "your divine purpose," allowed each of us to discover our individual purpose. Mine was centered around expressing peace.

"My calling is people expressing peace."

As part of the project, we were tasked with formulating two questions related to our divine purpose, one for ourselves and one for others.

My question for others was "How can I assist others in expressing their peace?" The "I" in that question can also represent you helping others express their peace.

I aspire to create an environment where my future clients feel comfortable expressing their peace. I am committed to helping them overcome any fears that may be hindering their ability to express peace. My goal is for my future clients to feel at ease with their peace and unashamed. I desire for you to experience the same level of peace that I do, and I will strive to provide a sense of peace during your time in my treatment room.

Model Call:

I’m looking for models for eyebrow wax! This will be at my home because I’m doing it as practice outside of class. Since I’m still a student and not licensed yet these would be free but tips are greatly appreciated! I’d suggest a $10 tip, but again tips are optional!

edit: I have a model, but if anything changes i’ll make a new post!!

I have an exciting announcement to make, after May 4th I will be lash extension certified!!! With that being said on May 4th I will need a lash extension model for a classic set! If you’re interested comment or PM me and we can discuss more details!!

Meet Karissa 🌸 Basic Esthetician Student

What made you want to become an esthetician?

“ I wanted to be an esthetician because I was bullied during school, which is why i got homeschooled. After all that I had no confidence and constantly felt like I wasn’t “pretty enough.” My biggest reason why was so I could help people never feel the way I did. I want people to feel beautiful, confident, and seen for more than their just their appearance. ”

Why did you choose our school?

“I chose Wild & Free because the day I went in to tour Carolyn was the most welcoming person I had ever met. So from the beginning I knew that’s where I wanted to be, just based off how she treated me. I LOVED the idea of a small class because big classes have always made me anxious. I’m beyond happy I chose this school! ”

What does holistic beauty mean to you?

“Holistic beauty to me means treating my clients as a whole and not just treating them based off how they look. I want to make sure I give my clients a space to unwind, feel comfortable, and feel like they can have a break from life. ”

What is your future goal within esthetics?

“My future goal is to make a welcoming, peaceful, and safe environment for everyone. I want to make every client feel seen, heard, beautiful, confident, and cared for with every treatment. I plan on going solo and getting my masters after I graduate from my basics! ”

Karissa is a total firecracker in the classroom. She brings confidence, curiosity, and an energy that pushes her to keep learning and improving every day. She isn’t afraid to ask questions, try new techniques, and really dive into the “why” behind what we do in esthetics. That drive, paired with her natural confidence, is what will make her a strong and capable esthetician in this industry. It’s been so exciting watching her grow in her skills and knowledge. 🔥

My one model is unable to come! Pm or comment if you’d like to be the candidate! You have to be comfortable with a few people watching, if you’re not you can wear a dark colored bikini!

Spray tan care…after April the 2nd I will officially be able to offer spray tan services! Make sure to come to me for all your spray tan needs!!
