🐝 A Little Bit of Local Goodness in Simply Sable 🐝

One of the things I love most about making my products is finding ways to keep things simple, natural, and as local as possible. So I was especially excited recently to source local beeswax from a local beekeeper. 💛

But beeswax doesn’t simply go from the hive straight into my products. There is a process involved in getting that beautiful golden wax clean and ready for skincare. The wax needs to be filtered and purified to remove impurities and debris before it is suitable for use in products that go on your skin.

And look at that beautiful golden color! 🐝✨

Beeswax is one of those amazing natural ingredients that does more than just add structure to a product. In skincare, it can help:

🌿 Give balms and butters their beautiful texture
🌿 Add firmness and stability to products
🌿 Help protect the skin from environmental elements

For me, being able to source an ingredient locally makes it even more special. It’s a reminder that small businesses can support other local businesses, farmers, beekeepers, and makers — and that something as simple as a little piece of beeswax can have a whole story behind it. 🐝🌻

This is what “Simply Sable” is all about — getting back to simple, natural ingredients and knowing where the things we use come from.

I’m pretty excited to know that a little bit of local sunshine from the hive is making its way into my products. 💛
