Stylists - do you change your foil placement for every client??

Why I custom foil every client instead of using the same pattern on everyone:

• Every head of hair has different density and natural movement, which changes how lightener should be placed to create the best result.

• Everyone has a different natural base color and undertone, so placement needs to be adjusted to control brightness and blend.

• Every client has different goals for their color - some want soft dimension while others want brighter, higher impact blonde.

• Strategic foil placement allows me to control where brightness and depth sit, creating a more balanced and natural-looking result.

• Custom foiling also creates a softer, more seamless grow out, which helps the color stay looking good longer between appointments.

No two heads of hair are the same… so foil placement shouldn’t be either. ✨
