I met with my General Surgeon. He says he will do surgery in 2-3 months again working on my hernia. In that surgery the Plastic surgeon will take muscle from my back and put it down the middle of my front. If needed they will also get the muscle out of my leg and sure up my front. Where they made the incision last time was very thin skin. I knew that because I had a wound vac in that area before. After they get the muscle in place, they will fill in with mesh. They will go out and in in a different area than the last incision. The incision I have is from my breast bone to my p***c bone. They will move the incision to Hannah Wolfe & Heidi Ryalltwo places right and left several inches away from the incision they placed this time. I did not talk to the surgeon after the last surgery,Steve did. He was upset that this much surgery was done with only getting it prepped for the next surgery. He heard a year. And, the surgeon said that was to complete all the surgery. So, the general surgeon swears he will get it fixed. I am having much less pain in the area. He assures me there will be less chance of a bowel onstuction now.

I am having surgery on Thursday to fix a giant hernia. 7-8 hour surgery to take muscle off my back and leg and cover my giant hole in my abdomen. Two surgeons signed up to complete the process. I will be in the hospital 5-7 days. After surgery, I will be in the ICU for one to two days and then on the transplant floor 8 at Baylor Scott and White(All Saints) in Ft Worth.
I am glad to get this out of the way. After this, I will be getting ready for another kidney transplant. This surgery had to be completed first. Prayers appreciated for a successful surgery.
