🦙🧵 The Saga of the Long-Term Quilt Projects 🧵🦙

Back in July—and then again in October—of 2025, Kyla started a group of frustrating and LONG quilt projects.

Now, what you may not know about Kyla is that she likes anything she starts within a year to be DONE by January of the next year. 😂

But sometimes life happens…and projects drag on. Sometimes it turns out to be a math problem, and those projects are MUCH bigger than she thought they were going to be. 🤦‍♀️📏

Here we observe the Mama Llama in her natural habitat, FINALLY finishing all but ONE of those quilt tops. 🦙👏

She is exhausted. She is over them. And she has informed us that they are headed to the long-arm quilter TODAY because these quilts WILL NOT be dragging themselves into 2027! 😂

🦙 The Llamas were on the loose in Weatherford recently! 😂 These ladies always know how to have a good time when they’re together. We love having the Llamas in the house at Welcome Home Retreat! 💕🧵
