So how do you know if your GLP-1 medication is coming from a safe, legitimate source?
Let’s break it down:
✔️ FDA-approved medications should come from a licensed pharmacy.
✔️ If you’re receiving a compounded medication, it should be prescribed specifically for you and dispensed by an appropriate 503A or 503B pharmacy.
🚩 If the vial says “For Research Only” or “Not for Human Use,” that is a major red flag. I would not recommend injecting it.
Providers are being held accountable, and you deserve to know exactly what you’re putting in your body.

I started getting serious about my skin in 2023, and truthfully, taking care of myself was long overdue.
After years of taking care of everyone else, followed by the grief of losing my dad, I looked in the mirror one day and realized I didn’t really recognize myself anymore.
I wasn’t trying to change who I was. I wanted the person looking back at me to reflect how I still felt inside. Today, I feel like she finally does.
Yes, it’s been an investment — but these are the things that have made the biggest difference:

But the why?
It’s always been the people.
And I’m so damn grateful.
It’s all cringe… until you realize you might be inspiring someone else to start.
One year at our new location. One year of so many pinch-me moments that I still have to stop and think, wait… I actually did this.
When I started Lovely You, there were SO many women who inspired me. Local injectors. Solo business owners. Women who took a chance, put themselves out there, built something from the ground up and weren’t afraid to be seen trying.
I watched them and thought, maybe I can do this too.
So here I am. Still learning. Still growing. Still putting myself out there. Still figuring it out as I go.
And if sharing the wins, the hard days, the behind-the-scenes and all the slightly cringe moments helps even ONE other woman believe she can do it too…
Then it’s worth it.
So incredibly thankful for this business, this team, our patients and this little dream that somehow became very real.
