Going from blonde to brunette isn’t as simple as just putting brown over blonde—especially when we want the end result to look rich, dimensional and natural instead of flat or muddy.

For this transformation, we filled the hair first to replace the warm pigments that were missing from being blonde, then went back in with her final brunette formula. The result was this gorgeous, shiny, dimensional chocolate brunette that looks SO good on her. 🤎✨

Sometimes a big change is a little nerve-racking—even when you’re the one behind the chair—but transformations like this are why I love doing hair! ❤️ Allison
