Sometimes you don’t need 37 TikToks telling you what could possibly go wrong.

You just need someone to tell you what to actually expect.

These are the things I come back to with first-time wax clients, especially the girl who has been stalking my page for three months but is still scared to actually book.

And please hear me on this one:

Your waxer does not care what your body looks like.

You do not need to lose weight first.
You do not need to be less hairy.
You do not need to fix your dark spots first.
You do not need to apologize for anything.

You just need to show up.

Save this for your first Brazilian and send it to the friend who keeps saying she wants one but is terrified to book.

Sometimes the best 15 minutes of your week are the ones where nobody needs a snack, nobody is asking where their shoes are, and your phone can stay on DND.

For a lot of busy women, beauty appointments aren’t just maintenance. They’re one of the few things on the calendar that are actually for them.

So yes, your Brazilian appointment counts as me-time.

Especially when you leave feeling put together and it’s one less thing you have to think about for the next few weeks.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from waxing ingrown-prone clients and clients who sometimes don’t follow aftercare instructions, it’s that what you do after your Brazilians matters just as much as the wax itself.

Here are a few non-negotiable rules that I genuinely believe you MUST follow in the first 48 hours after a wax, especially if you’re the girl who says, “last time I got waxed I got a bunch of painful white bumps.”

1. NO s*x, touching the waxed area, heavy workouts or anything that will cause sweating! This introduces bacteria to the area and then P**F white little bumps appear, aka: folliculitis.
2. NO tight clothing or thongs post wax. The friction will cause irritation and bumps and ingrowns.
3. No direct exposure to sun or UV light. Use SPF. Your skin is a little angry after your wax. Be gentle on her.
4. Sleep Commando if posible. Let her breaaaathe
5. Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, and lakes. Showers are OK. Just no super hot water.

Save this before your next Brazilian and send it to your fellow chronic-ingrown girlie.

TO ALL MY WAXERS!! Whether you use hard or soft wax or both-one thing we can all agree on is that we need our clients to follow our reccomended aftercare routines for best results. You’ve probably heard of Ladypenglovesyou and her viral line of aftercare products including Agent 88 and the 50 Grit Exfoliating towels. The hype is absolutely real. I cannot keep them stocked in my studio and I genuinely recommend ordering a few (I started with 8) to try!

Use my code PEACHPLEASE10 for some $$ off at check out. You can order at www.ladypeng.com

After working with Brazilian and body-wax clients, I’ve learned that the best routine is usually the one you’ll actually stick to: gentle exfoliation, the right products for your skin, and leaving the tweezers alone.

Save this for the next time your bikini line starts acting up, and follow for more realistic waxing + ingrown-prevention tips.

Your first appointment should feel informative, comfortable, and way less scary than you built it up to be in your head.

Save this if a Brazilian has been sitting on your “maybe someday” list.
