This trip was a reminder that we don’t get to control every obstacle in our path.
We traveled to Hot Springs for a continuing education class that ended up being canceled. We visited a few restaurants only to find they were out of what we wanted to order. Nothing major, just little reminders that things don’t always go according to plan.
Watching the water flow, I couldn’t help but think about how often we waste energy fighting reality instead of adapting to it.
Water doesn’t force its way around obstacles.
It flows.
And somehow it still reaches where it’s meant to go.
Maybe there’s a lesson in that. 💙

What if the healing wasn’t just in the water?
One of my favorite things about visiting Hot Springs wasn’t just the bathhouses—it was realizing how many people have come here seeking healing.
For thousands of years, people have gathered around these thermal waters. Long before modern spas and wellness trends, the springs offered a place to rest, recover, and reconnect.
In the heyday of the bathhouses, visitors didn’t just soak in the thermal water. Many followed a routine that included mineral baths, massage, exercise, fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of rest.
People believed the waters themselves held special healing powers. Maybe they did, or maybe part of the magic was something simpler: slowing down long enough to care for the body and mind.
As a massage therapist, I couldn’t help but appreciate that massage has been part of the healing experience here for generations. While the tools and techniques may have changed, the goal remains the same—to help people feel better, move better, and reconnect with themselves.
Some things never change. 💙

One of my favorite things about massage therapy is that every therapist brings something different to the table. Some clients want deep therapeutic work, some want relaxation, some want energy work and nervous system support, and many want a mix of it all.
There truly isn’t one “best” massage therapist for everyone. The best therapist is the one who makes you feel heard, comfortable, safe, and supported in your healing journey.
When you find someone whose approach matches what your body and nervous system need… you just know. ✨
I’m always grateful when someone trusts me enough to say, “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.” Those moments never get old. 💛
