Important if you want longevity on a silk press without cooking the cuticle. I see her biweekly and she returns soft, silky, bouncy rather it’s straight or wavy. She hasn’t lost her curl pattern. I hear these things. She’s been with me 7 years now she never thinned out. She sits in my chair bi weekly she is not breaking, If that happens it’s 2 things, the fiat iron is too hot (heat protectant or not) the cuticle is getting damaged, or the client is having issues, if fallout is from the follicle. Sometimes clients add heat in my chair that’s a no, mines just wrap it back down, I can feel, smell and tell if they are not following my professional advice. My point is silking hair is only damaging if the process is not done properly.
Am I tired of doing hair? Absolutely not look at Malia we had a blast getting ready for her Sweet 16 this year. I never get tired of making women smile and feel about who they are or who they are becoming. It’s important to love what you do and know your purpose for doing what you are doing.
