For some kids, getting a haircut can be overwhelming. The sounds, vibrations, touch, cape, and unfamiliar environment can all create sensory challenges.
When Cameron sat in my chair, my priority wasn’t rushing to get the haircut done — it was making sure he felt safe, comfortable, respected, and in control.
