Makeup can enhance your skin, but it cannot change the texture of your skin.

Foundation sits on top of the skin you give me. It can even out color, cover redness, brighten, contour and create a beautiful finish—but it cannot erase pores, deep lines, creases, acne texture or skin laxity.

There’s a very good chance you’re looking at professional lighting, flattering angles, filters, retouching or skin smoothing. Real skin has texture. Even beautiful, professionally applied makeup has texture up close.

✨ This is why skincare before your wedding is SO important.
Hydration, exfoliation and addressing your individual skin concerns ahead of time can make a huge difference in how your makeup sits and wears.

For concerns like deeper wrinkles or expression lines, makeup cannot physically remove them. Treatments such as Botox or other professional skincare/aesthetic options are something you would need to discuss with a qualified provider well before your event if that’s a concern you want to address.
