if you are 10 or more minutes late for your appointment, you will be required to reschedule. I've always loved doing hair since I was in grade school. Doing all of my friends hair for dances, and even just for fun! I remember having them all over and sitting in the bathroom on the floor with a pillow on my lap so I could pluck all of their eyebrows for them! After my first year of college, I decided that dental hygiene school wasn't for me. I had a different calling. Which took me a year in school, training for another career, to realize it! So it was time for beauty school! Beauty school was long and definitely hard. It was a little discouraging after seeing almost half of my class drop out after the first semester. But when you know you are on the right path, you buckle down and get the job done. So finally after a long 12 months, it was graduation time! Boy was I ready to start working in a salon. My first year as a hairdresser, I was doing a training program for a well known salon in the area I lived. I was only there for a year, but I received the best training I could have ever imagined! Which to this day, still helps me succeed! After that I went to a bigger corporate salon, in search of benefits and insurance. So after working for that corporation for a few years, I felt it was time to move on to bigger and better things. I decided the best thing to do was to open my own business. It was very hard! But well worth it. I now have the freedom to make my own schedule to cater to each and every client. As well as show my appreciation for my clients in anyway I choose! I look forward to the many years ahead. This is definitely the right path for me, I love what I do and I love to help people look and feel the best they can!
