Get Cut or Dye

Color correction at its finest!! Layers of super dark, almost black box dye with a couple inches of natural new growth. The goal was to get it lighter and dimensional, going for caramel highlights, and just not a solid dark color. Was definitely stubborn color to remove and may need one more session to get the end result we really want, but this is a beautiful color to transition before doing the next round!!! ✨

‼️ What NOT to wear to your hair appointment:

• Hoodies/turtlenecks/high collared tops that cannot be folded in. These can make it bulky and also difficult to keep from getting wet or getting color on. And when getting a haircut, hoods and collars can create a bumpy surface to comb over creating an uneven haircut.

• Hoop earrings. I am for the most part really good at not catching my comb or brush on hoop earrings, but sometimes I do forget 🫣 and it’s best to either take them off or not wear them if possible!

• Any clothing you’d be really upset if it got color on it. I do give you a color robe and cutting cape, but if you have clothing that’s either really expensive, not easy to replace, or just something you totally love, please don’t wear it just to be safe.

• AirPods/headphones/hearing aids. 🎧 During your shampoo and when you have color on your head, please take these off so I don’t ruin them on accident.

• Glasses. 👓 During your shampoo, coloring service, and haircut, please take off your glasses. It just makes it easier and glasses can also affect how your color processes! Also don’t take glasses on and off if you have foils on your head as they can make the foils slide and cause bleeding and splotches. If you want to wear glasses while your color/highlights are processing, just let me know so I can help you get them on properly 😎

Sometimes the best laid plans don’t work out, but you still get an amazing, if not better, end result. She came in with color from a couple months ago that was a very deep, vivid blue and was still very vibrant. Trying to work our way to a nice platinum blonde, but we were left with quite a bit of green still left in the hair. Rather than pushing the hair past its limit and causing damage by trying to remove the green, we changed our plan to go with a fun color as we transition to the goal. This pastel color is just magical on her. 🦄
