Hello to all my customers, friends, and family. For those who may not know me, my name is Nelson Ortiz, owner of Quality Barber Studio. I’m proud to share that I’ve nominated myself for the Positive Influencer Award at the CT Barber Expo Barber Grammys.

Since opening my business in 2023, I’ve made it a priority to go above and beyond the role of a business owner by giving back to my community. From sponsoring the West Boylston Little League to participating in numerous back-to-school events, I strive to make a real difference. Last year alone, I personally provided over 30 back-to-school haircuts for local kids, and I continue that commitment each year.

I’ve also partnered with the West Boylston High School Internship Program to help inspire and mentor the next generation—giving students the opportunity to experience firsthand what barbering truly represents and the doors it can open, from financial independence to building meaningful connections every day.
