50 or so years ago my Dad, Henry Bohlen, had a dream to make the Smith/Bohlen family Farm into something amazing. Through many years, many trials and tribulations, it now has become a beautiful area where many can appreciate the breadth and depth of his dream. Stunning beauty over the many lakes and panoramic horizons. Morning noon and night, and in any season, you will see swans, elk, deer, and many more. His work continues and so does the dream.

Many many feathered friends on the lake yesterday! We are guessing many hundreds are now finding Swan Lake to be a wonderful stop-over. Always beautiful to see them all at our Lake.

Always wonderful to see the MANY Trumpeter swans return to the lake! Many of them began their life here and we are always amazed to see them and their mates back home on Swan Lake!
