In all my weight workouts, compound exercises = think multi muscle groups working at the same time (builds heat and raises the metabolism) and long lever movements are employed to optimize not only the “target muscles” for each exercise but also the smaller stabilization muscles supporting the joint action taking place.
This creates dynamic strength and while recruit the core & your balance throughout the entire workout 🏋️♀️

Met another awesome dancer, Lucy in the West Chester area 🙌 teaching multiple dance formats at Vibe Vault Fit in Exton 🤗
She was a student with me last night in DanceFit class!! Didn’t snag a pic with her, but WOW!!!Thanks guys for giving this dancer her “wiggle fix”💃 I am so blessed ☺️

Four of my favorite floor barre moves!! Give them a try and work your body just like a dancer would on a day off from the barre ☺️
1️⃣ Side lying: Rainbows (ronde jambe)
2️⃣ Seated: Spine roll + leg lifts (battements)
3️⃣ Supine: Ball pick ups (développé) + shoulder circles (port de bras)
4️⃣ Kneeling: Forward lunge (tombé) with arm work
