✨ Featuring today’s client… ME. ✨

As a solo esthetician, I spend so much of my time focused on taking care of everyone else’s skin that, admittedly, my own skincare sometimes gets pushed to the bottom of the list. (I know, I know… the esthetician should know better. 😂)

So today I decided it was the perfect time to slow down, take care of my skin, and show myself a little of the same love and attention I give my clients every day. 🤍

And apparently once I started, I decided to do all the things.

I started with a double cleanse, followed by dermaplaning, Luminous Infusion (nanoneedling) with a retinol peel, and extractions. While I was at it, I gave my brows a little refresh with a brow wax + tint.

Next came hyaluronic acid serum with a Light Energy Mask, some time under red LED light, followed by oxygen infusion and facial cupping. And because we can’t forget the lips, I added a lip exfoliation + hydrating lip mask, then finished everything off with toner, eye serum, moisturizer, and finishing products.

No filter. No skin smoothing. Just my real, 47-year-old skin before and after a little much-needed TLC.

And one of my favorite things about these pictures? My skin doesn’t look different — it looks happy. Hydrated, luminous, refreshed and a little less puffy. My lines and freckles are still there, because they’re supposed to be. This is real skin.

Skincare isn’t about trying to erase every line, pore or sign of aging. It’s about supporting the skin you’re in and helping it look and feel its healthiest.

Apparently today’s reminder was one I needed myself:

A little skincare, a little soul care… and today, the esthetician needed both.

Autumn Alchemy includes dermaplaning and a gentle lactic acid peel when appropriate for your skin, along with lip exfoliation and a nourishing lip mask, extractions if needed, a relaxing face, neck and shoulder massage, customized serum and masque, red LED light therapy, oxygen infusion and customized finishing products.

And because it simply wouldn’t feel like October without a little pumpkin… 🎃

While you relax beneath the red light, you’ll choose a Pumpkin Hand or Foot Ritual featuring a pumpkin sugar scrub, rich pumpkin body butter and soothing massage.

As always, your skin barrier comes first. If receiving both dermaplaning and the lactic acid peel isn’t appropriate for your skin, I’ll customize the exfoliation to give your skin exactly what it needs.
