Things you should know before booking a microblading or ombré brow appointment. 🤓

✨the touch up appointment is 8-12 weeks after the initial microblading appointment (6-8 weeks for ombré brows). Annual touch ups are 1.5 years to 2 years. Brows must be at least 50% faded for an annual touch up.

✨no sweating for the first 5 days after your appointment. That means no exercising! Even going for a walk is a no-no. Sweating will push out the pigment or make it spread/migrate, which is not good for pigment retention.

✨don’t submerge brows in water for the first 10 days after your appointment. Washing them twice a day is okay. It’s important to keep brows dry during the initial healing process so the pigment retention is not compromised. If you must wash your hair during the 10 days, I suggest tilting your head back and only getting your hair wet. Have a dry towel handy to pat dry any water that may get on the brows.

✨if you plan a trip before your appointment, please where SPF if you’re in the sun. Sunburnt eyebrows cannot be microbladed or shaded. Plan trips/vacations two weeks after your appointment and where SPF!
