Today, I’m coming to my little village to ask for some big help.

Many of you know that a few years ago I suffered a severe spinal injury. So many of you followed my journey, encouraged me through the hardest days, celebrated the milestones, and never stopped believing in me. I will never forget that.

Now, this story has come full circle in a way I never imagined.

Last week, my brother was involved in a freak accident. He was thrown an estimated 30 feet into the air before landing on his head and back. He suffered fractures from T9 to L1, a broken collarbone, and several other serious injuries.

If you’ve ever visited the spa, you’ve probably heard me talk about my brothers. Seeing him begin the same journey I once had to face has been heartbreaking. It has brought back memories I thought I’d left behind.

Spinal injuries don’t heal overnight. Recovery is long, physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and incredibly expensive.

One of my biggest regrets after my own injury was returning to work far too soon. As a small business owner, there weren’t many resources available, and despite applying everywhere, I didn’t qualify for much assistance. I pushed through because I felt like I had no other choice.

I don’t want my brother to feel that same pressure.

My hope is to raise enough money that he can focus on healing, attend every appointment he needs, and give his body the time it deserves to recover.

Because of that, I’m doing something I almost never do anymore.
