Remember kids, failure is important as well. Don’t think of it as a loss, think of it as a learning opportunity. It’s tough for sure but we’re only here to get better. We don’t lose 😤. Second time pulling it to my knee. I feel like I’m RIGHT there. Just gotta dial it in a bit more. Lifetime goal of 500 coming soon.
S/O to my gym brathers & they be pushin me to my limits❤️💪🏽

“Yeah I’m back” - 2 Chainz
To be completely honest… I fell off, a lot. For the past year or so I have lifted what I would say somewhat consistently. 3-4 days a week typically, especially while in college to try and maintain as much strength as possible and make slight improvements a long the way. However, some of those 4 day weeks turned into 3 days, 2 days, 1 day and some weeks I didn’t even make it into the gym. And there is no excuse in the book for that, that’s fully on me and my commitment. I was sick and traveling pretty much all of last week and it’s been about 10 days since I’ve been to the gym… but like 2 chainz said, yeah I’m back! It’s time to focus on my goals and fully commit myself to this lifestyle again. The strongest version of myself mentally and physically was when I was roughly 170, lifting 6 maybe even 7 days a week (some accessory and light days of course), and throwing up loads more weight than I am now. I’m ready to get back to that. Get ready for tons of content and big lifts where I don’t actually look like a stick like I do in this video. Posted this because I felt like the workout was sub par and didn’t want to really show any “main sets” of anything. Did legs today and was absolutely dying the whole time. But so excited to be back and making progress again. Now here’s some tips for a “comeback” if you’ve made it this far:
1. Use less weight. Today I used about 60 lbs less than I normally would on my sets of squat and accessories I did 1 less set than normal and dropped the weight 15-20 lbs or so
2. Don’t get down on yourself. This is a hard for me to do sometimes but we have to remind ourselves, even on a bad day, we’re getting 1% better
3. Do the little things right. For example, getting enough sleep and staying hydrated. Two very simple things that can drastically affect how the body performs. Sometimes it’s beneficial to “sweat the small stuff”. Don’t stress too hard though and just love your life the best you possibly can.
😂
I miss the gym.

I know I know.. I’m lookin smoooollll.. it’s all good stuff happens man. We are all faced with adversity and sometimes life knocks us flat on our face. It’s up to us to stand above that and rise again. We aren’t judged on how many times we fall, were judged on how many times we can stand back up. Don’t give up now. Everyday is one small step to that greater goal. Build that empire.
Deadlifts yesterday. Haven’t hit them for awhile so just wanted to throw a lil weight around. Feeling super weak and small but you know just gotta keep the nose to the grindstone. Form started breaking down a little bit towards the end. Still have to work on dropping my butt and really solidify that good pulling position. But here’s 315 for 10. Enjoy.

I love me some tricep pushdowns☺️ my favorite way to end my chest/tricep day. 3 sets of 10 typically just for dat pump. Last set worked up to 140 for 10. Gonna be getting that whole 200 stack soon👀 lololol watch till the end, only weighing about 155-160, 140 lbs nearly yanked me off my feet mate💀😂

The look of hardwork... determination... and small arms😡 I’ll get there one day haha. This was on Monday after I benched 225 for 7 reps😭 progress! Go scroll down and find some other posts where my main goal was 5 haha. Slowly but surely.
This is one of my favorite exercises for chest. My good buddy showed it to me awhile ago and it’s still a favorite!! Sit sideways on a chest press and give it a try!
