We can tend to fixate on parts of us so much that we lose sight of the reality that we are so much more: a conglomeration of parts all connected into the whole.
It felt like kid me was right there with me while writing with my non-dominant hand this morning. It helped me zoom out and understand this.
I wrestle with what it means to “be a man” in this world to the point where it’s no good on my mental.
At the end of the day I am who I am and I love me.
This can be a powerful practice to tap into the right side of the brain which helps us get into our creative flow and innate knowing— so if you’re looking to spark new ideas or perspectives, try it out!
Remember the carefree days of childhood when everything felt new and exciting? This activates that playful part of us.
So let go of perfection, embrace the weird feeling of messy writing, and let it all flow out. It’s a fascinating process. Only takes about 10 minutes too.
You are, I am

Celebrated year 29 with a bowl of local homemade pasture-raised ice cream in the raw 🤤. Those who know me know that ice cream is my faaaavorite. I enjoyed every bite of it in gratitude for all that has led up to this moment.
A year ago bus life and the journey of deeper service to earth were a mere mental picture. Now here I am. Boots on the ground, getting dirty, navigating the messiness of it all, expanding my community and skills. It hasn’t been easy or glamorous by any means, but it’s been so worth it!
And in this special year, the last year of my twenties, I’m devoted to expanding that even more. My intention is a year of greater service. To you, to myself, and to our Earth.
As Saint Francis, the Italian poet put it:
“For it is in giving that we receive”
The best gift to me is offering my skills in service to human health and healing. And this stuff really lights me up!! So in honor of that, I’m giving my single session services for the price of $29.
Here’s what you get:
👄 One-on-one mindful eating session (60 minutes)
Or
💧One-on-one personalized detox session (90 minutes)
In addition to that you’ll get one weekly support call (30 minutes) for the month of January to help keep you on track.
You get all of this (Valued at $350) for just $29 🎁🎁🎁.
I’m offering this from today through the end of 2024.
Start your year off with a solid service to yourself!
Message me or tap the link in my bio for this short term offer.
Much Love,
Danny

The mouth is the window into the overall health of the body.
Bad oral hygiene can literally cause a heart attack where the plaque in the mouth enters the bloodstream and clogs an artery.
I just recently got a cleaning done at the dentist which motivated me to up my regimen. I also wanted to reduce plastic exposure to my gums.
So I did some digging and added a few things:
+ Bamboo Charcoal Floss— a lot of name brand flosses contain plastics and nylon so I switched to this one made by .motherearth. I like that it’s thinner so it’s not super difficult to fit between my teeth.
+ Bamboo Brush Heads— Same thing goes for tooth brushes. The bristles are usually made of plastic, but these ones I found, also from Mother Earth brand, are made of castor oil infused with charcoal. They fit my Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush! So far it’s a comfortable blend of soft and abrasive.
+ Water Flosser— an added tool for removing plaque and gently stimulating gums. This one is Operan and only $30 on Amazon.
The products I’ve been using for a while are:
👅 Copper Tongue Cleaner— I didn’t know this even existed until a dear friend showed me it. It removes bacteria and toxins so they are not absorbed back into the blood stream. This was a game changer, fr.
🦷 Activated Charcoal Powder— just add to wet toothbrush for gentle abrasion to teeth.
🪥 Toothpaste— Because I don’t do fluoride and it has ingredients I can recognize. Spearmint is my favorite.
👄 Mouth Wash— 8 oz of water mixed with 5 to 6 drops of Happy Mouth Drops by , an essential oil brand local to MN. Tastes delicious!! I mix it in my favorite jar gifted to me by my favorite .
🥬 Numero Uno for me is maintaining a healthy diet. Just as it benefits the gut, it also benefits the mouth (tremendously), which is the beginning of our digestive tract.
I have zero affiliate marketing ties with these companies, I’m just so grateful they exist. Much love to you guys ❤️
Regardless, smile cuz life is too short 😁

Ever notice how the word “exercise” is one letter off from “exorcise”?
The body needs to move to extract that built up tension, stress, energy, and emotion.
These emotions can take over and almost posses us, kinda like that one chick from The Exorcist. 🫣
These “demons” are what move us from a state of ease to dis-ease. 😌➡️🤒
Lately my movement has been hauling hay and wood, body-weight circuit training, dancing, and Qi Gong.
I used to put so much pressure on myself to move in extravagant ways and lived by the “no pain, no gain” philosophy— but it really did no good for my mental game, and it’s not totally true.
You can find fun ways to exercise naturally, all while exorcising your “demons” and calming your nervous system. 😉😈

Did you know an onion looks like this before it’s processed and put in the stores? I had fun processing these this week. And even the green leafy stalks are edible! It’s not just Ogres that have layers,, we do too 😅

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the hurricanes this fall.
These natural disasters remind me of how interconnected we all are to our planet. So I wanted to speak on it for a moment.
It has been a wake-up call for me moving to a small town in Kentucky. It’s basically a food desert out here, and many people are financially poor. The median household income here is just over $30k per year...
It really puts into perspective how, to some extent, it pay$ to be healthy. It’s fueled a vision to start a garden of my own and provide quality food to those who can’t access it well.
Fortunately between my coaching business and nursing job I am well above $30k. Still it’s been challenging to find clean water and nutritious, chemical-reduced food.
The last few weeks I’ve been compromising my diet and water quality. I definitely notice a difference— brain fog, gut issues and fatigue, enough to affect my performance at work.
We’re grateful to have a car so we can access quality food and water. There’s a natural spring about 40 minutes away, and we’re getting in the routine of doing town runs every couple weeks (an hour and 30 minutes to Lexington) to bring back a huge haul of quality groceries to properly fuel our bodies. We’re also fortunate to have a garden onsite that provides us leafy greens, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, and eggplants. The growing season goes longer down here.
The air is fresh, the community is warm, and the weather is inviting to move my body every day with hikes, basketball, and calisthenics. And the sleep is SO restorative out here! These are big reasons I think I’ve kept my body healthy enough to avoid getting sick sick.
