Personally, I love cupping on myself! Also love to incorporate cupping into sessions. I find it a beneficial additive of relief for the client.

Tight clothes ≠ compression garments And your lymphatic system can feel the difference 👀 Tight clothing (think skinny jeans, shapewear worn too long, tight bras, tight elastic bands on underwear/socks/wastebands): • Creates uneven pressure • Can compromise lymph vessels and nodes • May slow lymph movement instead of supporting it Medical-grade compression garments (when fit and used correctly): • Apply graduated pressure upwards • Are designed to assist lymph and venous return • Support flow when properly fitted and time-limited Here’s the part most people miss👇 Even good compression can temporarily limit natural movement while it’s on. Whereas tight clothes don’t support flow at all. That’s why I always recommend gentle drainage after wearing either. Think of it as giving your lymph some TLC after being held or restricted. I like to think of my lymphatic system “falling asleep” like an arm or leg would when put in an awkward position for too long. A few minutes of lymphatic stimulation helps: • Re-open pathways • Encourage fluid movement • Support your body’s natural drainage rhythm Compression can be a tool. Tight clothes are just… tight clothes.
