Winning doesn’t give a f**k…
This post is inspired by the greatest book I’ve ever laid hands on: “Winning”, by Tim Grover.
Winning does not give a f**k if your hurt.
It doesn’t care if you’re tired.
It doesn’t care if you’re stressed.
It doesn’t care if you’re overwhelmed.
It doesn’t care that you didn’t have time to eat.
It doesn’t care that you have other responsibilities.
It doesn’t care about anything besides you’re relentless pursuit of it.
When you dedicate your life to winning, you also must decide to not give a f**k.
You have to learn to not care about how tired you are, how hungry you are, how stressed or depressed you are. You just have to do it despite whatever bull s**t excuse your mind fabricates.
2022 is about not giving a f**k.
I don’t care about COVID, I don’t care about our political leader, I don’t even care about what people think of me and who I am becoming.
I suggest you do the same and level up.
Comment if you’re gonna level the f**k up with me 💥

“You either live life by design or by default”
Today is the last day of the best year of my life to date. As some of you know, it didn’t start this way.
In fact, it started as bad as you could possibly imagine. My life was riddled with stress, anxiety, depression, lost loved ones, and toxic relationships.
Day by day, brick by brick, I built myself back up. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do.
This is why goal setting and holding myself accountable changed my life. This is a message for those of you who are serious about changing their own lives in 2022.
The fact of the matter is, no one, and I mean absolutely no one is going to hold you accountable for your life more than yourself. You can hire the best coaches, you can have the best of friends, and trust me I have both, but when my alarm sounds off at 3:50 am every morning, only I can force action.
Goals are a measure of faith. Faith in yourself and your own discipline. The bigger your goals, the more faithful you are.
This is a message to all of those who NEED a change in their lives. Be brave, set a f**king scary goal and work towards it every day as if your life depended on it.
This is how you live life by design. You create your own luck by being relentless in the pursuit of your goals. When you carry out the work, you’re planning your future of success.
When you don’t set goals, everyone else and everything else sets your life by default. COVID, your significant other cheating on you, getting laid off of your job, whatever it is.
Either let the world dictate your fate, or design your own.
The choice is yours, every damn time.
2021 the board was set. 2022 we make f**king moves. Mark my words.

What it takes to be a sports medicine PT 🏃♂️ 🏋️♂️
1. Work travels with you everywhere you go.
- Athletes can sometimes be more demanding than a traditional orthopedic patient because their demands and physical stresses are higher. They tend to be more self-motivated and therefore put in more hours of work on there own. This comes with many questions and almost daily dialogue.
2. You MUST be creative with your exercises.
- Often times, traditional squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts and variations, and plyometrics will suffice in this demographic. However, specific pain or dysfunctions may require specific intervention. Find ways to mimic sport specific movements and demands.
3. Exercises must have intent.
- Pretty self-explanatory, but your exercises have to have a clear purpose. If you’re asked, “why are we doing this?”, you should have an answer right away.
4. (Probably the most important) - You don’t have to be a stud athlete, but you do NEED TO KNOW THE DEMANDS OF DIFFERENT SPORTS.
- I always played a wide variety of sports, even to this day. I excelled in a few, and most I’m well below average. BUT, I take the time out to go to different sporting events and understand the intricacies of the sport to better serve my athletes.
Who else is a sports med PT? Who do you treat? What are challenges that you face?!

We are not created for mediocrity.
As I look ahead down the road to success I know there will be challenges, I know there will be pain, and I know there will be times that I want to quit.
I am going to live as if I know I can’t fail.
I am going to face every obstacle head on because iron sharpens iron and I know I will not be defeated.

“Do what no one else is willing to do” 💪🏼 Check out this story! ⬇️
I sold insurance for one year in order to make enough money to be able to go back to school and finish my undergraduate degree.
I was miserable. I felt so defeated. But I finished.
I ended up leaving by 9 to 5 cubicle job and started Bartending while also personal training.
I waited 3 years to get accepted to PT school… but finally I got my opportunity.
I worked 4 jobs, at one point 5, while taking full-time courses in PT school.
While bartending, when it was slow, I would break out my textbooks, write down notes, read, create and rehearse what was on my flashcards. I did this from 2016 to 2020.
My mind was always conscious of being effective. Being deliberate. Being intentional. There was never a minute that went to waste.
Life has a way of coming back full circle. Today, I set up a treatment table and information tent at the same country club I once bartended at during PT school. I am now treating their members, giving them good quality information, and showing them value with what I do.
So many people have said that they’re proud of me, and can tell how happy I am. I am so thankful for my journey, and I wouldn’t trade it for a thing.
No endowments needed here.
Forever blessed. Always grateful. Never satisfied.

My whole life changed when I started to do this…
Living intentionally is very demanding, at times exhausting, but always worth it.
I started working with a coach earlier this year who has played a huge role in my success. How? He taught me how to live with intention and how to be deliberate in the process.
He explained to me the 4 Pillars of goal setting and how to perform on a daily basis to make sure your goals are achieved.
And honestly, it’s almost impossible to not achieve your goals with this approach.
Here are the 4 Pillars I use with my clients to achieve success:
1. Body
2. Mind/Spirit
3. Relationships
4. Career
If you’ve seen my goal board in my office, I have goals for each of the pillars.
This allows me to focus on growing with success in all aspects of life.
