Baby boy made his earthside arrival just a little over a week ago, and while Dr. Freshhh is soaking in all the newborn snuggles, she’s also doing something that doesn’t always come naturally to her… RESTING. 😂

These first few weeks of motherhood are a lot — healing, adjusting, learning baby, sleepless nights, feeding, hormones and finding a whole new rhythm. Following her physician’s recommendation, Dr. Freshhh will be continuing her maternity leave through the end of September, with a possible return in early October.

And Shhhugababies, we need you to help us make sure she actually does it. 😂🤍

If you know your Shhhuga Momma, you know how much I believe in signs, alignment & divine timing, so this felt pretty magical.

His journey here had a few bumps, and one day I’ll share more of that story. But today we’re simply celebrating his BIRTH DAY and introducing the little boy so many of you loved before he even arrived. 💙

This pregnancy transformed me—mind, body & spirit—and reminded me just how powerful intuition, resilience and community can be.

And my Shhhugababies truly showed UP. 🥹❤️

The messages, gifts, check-ins, advice and love you poured into us meant more than you know. You didn’t just support my business—you supported ME through one of the biggest transitions of my life.

And now he’s finally here.

Well… that’s a wrap. 🥹🤍

This past Saturday was my last day in the treatment room before I step away to welcome my sweet baby boy into the world. Thank you to everyone who squeezed in one last appointment, brought gifts, shared hugs, words of encouragement, and so much love. My heart is so full.

As I begin this new chapter, The Freshhh Wax Bar + Spa will be closed for the next two weeks while we prepare for the transition.

After that, I’m so excited to officially introduce you to Lis! ✨

Lis has several years of experience specializing in sugaring hair removal and truly loves what she does. Her goal is to make every service as comfortable, relaxing, and as painless as possible. She’s incredibly easy to talk to, knowledgeable about everything from the benefits of sugaring to proper aftercare, and genuinely enjoys helping clients feel confident in their skin.

Outside of the treatment room, she’s someone who loves learning and growing, has a beautiful appreciation for nature (especially Connecticut’s hidden gems—even if she’s a city girl at heart! 🌿), and if you enjoy conversations about astrology, intuition, or spirituality… you might just find yourselves having some pretty fun conversations together. ✨💫

I know how important trust is when it comes to choosing your sugarist, and I truly believe you’re going to enjoy getting to know her.

Lis will have limited availability, so if you’re due for an appointment, I encourage you to book sooner rather than later.
