Albert William Borrelli, a beloved and compassionate man,entered into eternal life
February 24,2025 in his home in Valley Village,California surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Pittsburgh,PA.,son of Sadie and Guiseppe Taraborrelli, Albert arrived in Los Angeles at the age of 16. He quickly pursued his dream of becoming an educator in secondary High School education. After service in the US Army, he found his ‘life’s work’ teaching at Our Lady of Loretto High School in Los Angeles and Bellarmine Jefferson High School in Burbank as a teacher, administrator and Principal. He had meaningful impact inspiring students,colleagues,friends and families to reach their goals and fulfill their dreams.He was a visionary always building a better experience for the students and families.

His love of creating small business started with the first Borrelli Salon in 1960 and continues as a family business with Borrelli and B2V Salons in West Hollywood. His work ethic, passion and creativity continued with his countless advice and time to help stylists,customers and consultants who came to the salon to just ‘chat with Al’. He had a way of listening, guiding in complete confidence and you always knew that he cared about you and you were being heard. His jovial spirit rivaled his magnanimous charisma and his contagious sense of humor wherever he was present.

His love for music and theater was prevelant in his life since childhood in the ‘Borrelli Family Band’ to starting the ‘Voices of Patton’ in the US Army, thru the 35 years of Musical productions such as The King & I, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. Albert believed in the power of teaching choral and musical theater enriching a students life thru song and the arts.

Albert, born of a large Italian family, was a devoted loving family man,who created and celebrated traditions and instilled a rich Family life.
Al was blessed to have loved twice and is survived by Steve and Susan, His son Tom, daughters Lisa, Tara, Krista,Tamborine, grandchildren Asia, Jessie,Thomas, Bella, Antonio and Lorenzo,great-grandchildren Lucca and Amelia,in-laws,James,John,Michael,Chris and Joseph.His sister, AnnaMae Tominac and brothers Ralph and Nick.

A charismatic and devoted heart and soul, a loyal man of honor and ethics and a true friend. His legacy of compassion, generosity and love will live on in all of us who knew and loved him. May his memory inspire and be a blessing.

A celebration of Life will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood mid May.
