Sometimes even a seasoned colorist takes chances on their own hair, lol. Did I mean to leave my base color on for over an hour and a half… no. Did I mean to leave ammoniated color with 20vol Cream.Activator on my mods and ends for over an hour… ABSOLUTELY NOT! Hey, I got distracted! 😅

Crazy that a decade later .murphy’s hair color still amazes me! Anyone that’s done and red or copper shades knows that it’s super tricky and there are tons of variables. That fact that my super fine hair didn’t turn brown or get compromised is a MIRACLE! If you’re a colorist that nerds out over great results or even someone that’s new to color behind the chair, I cannot recommend it enough. The portfolio is incredible and skincare based. The dimensional results give way to a more low maintenance way of coloration as well. 10/10 recommend!

We had so much fun out in Palm Springs over the weekend! It was so nice to get away and show some support for a longtime friend/client who has put so much work into his up coming film !

I grew up in a rural community going to livestock shows and even got to do some cotton queen pageant hair early in my career back in Texas. Most of my clients come seasonally or twice a year and I like it that way. I started my career in the 2008 recession and built my craft on long lasting results. I believe that haircuts should age beautifully and that lived in color is super sexy and chic. Your hair maintenance should fit your lifestyle and shouldn’t feel like a chore. Please note that early spring is when all of my twice a year folks should be getting in. Timing is crucial if you’re going to get the most out of your cut. Coming in after the harsh winter to cut off the dried out ends will have you breezing through the balmier weather and coming in again at the end of summer/early fall does the same thing. 😎🤙
