Her natural texture was already sitting beautifully from her previous Tri-Cut, so this wasn’t about reinventing the shape. I refined the layers, kept her length, and brought everything back into balance so the hair falls exactly where it should.

We finished with soft waves to show off the movement and that lightweight flow, but this cut is built to look just as good air-dried.

The Curly Mod Is Taking Over!

For this curly mod, I point cut the entire haircut to build texture, movement, and separation without taking away what makes his curls so good.

It’s fashion-forward, a little rock ’n’ roll, and still completely wearable.

This is where men’s hair is going.

Natalia wanted something sexier, more undone and just a little s**ggy!!!! Without going full s**g.

We kept her length, took the layers shorter and used my Tri-Cut technique to create more movement and that effortless, undone shape.

Her hair also needed a reset after recent color, so we took off a little more than usual to bring the health and life back into it.

The finish was intentional… almost like she threw her hair up, pulled it down and it just landed like this.

Undone. Sexy. And just messy enough.

Sometimes being a good hairstylist means knowing when NOT to give the client what they asked for.

She came in wanting a French bob, but the haircut she had before me had already been cut too short in the areas we needed to build that shape.

Cutting more wasn’t going to fix it.

So I stopped thinking about the haircut she wanted and started looking at the haircut her hair could become.

With her heart-shaped face, I knew we could go shorter while still keeping the result soft and feminine.

I preserved length around her face, rebuilt the balance through the back, and used what we had to create a pixie that works NOW — while setting her up for a beautiful grow-out.

That’s corrective haircutting.
