Today was one of the hardest days we’ve ever had to face.

Today, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Tucker Buddy and Luna Momma. They crossed the Rainbow Bridge together, just as they lived their lives side by side.

Luna (13) had been with Tucker (15) since she was just a puppy, and he was only a year old. They grew up together, grew old together, and never had to know life without each other. They were truly best friends.

We’ll never forget Tucker chasing his tail and making us laugh, or Luna “talking” to us whenever she had something to say. They loved to run, play, and even pull us along on our skateboards and longboards. They filled our home with so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love.

I never imagined today would hurt this much. Our hearts are broken, and the house feels so much quieter. But there’s comfort in knowing they didn’t have to make this journey alone. They got to leave this world the same way they lived in it, together.

Run free, Tucker Buddy and Luna Momma. Chase all the tails, bark all you want, run through endless fields, and wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for every memory, every adventure, every laugh, and every ounce of love you gave us.

Big shout to Alizéa Rodriguez for being there with me today.

I’m forever grateful I got to be there to hold your hands one last time. I love you so much!

You will always be a part of our family, and you will forever be missed and loved more than words can ever say!
