Color correction I did today. This young lady called me this morning and needed her color put back the way I had it a year and a half ago . Last year her friend treated her to highlights at a local Beauty School two heavy two blonde too much. Underneath where the remains of the honey blonde and caramel I did for her well over almost 2 years ago. So after the beauty school highlights, she let it grow out and wound up in someone else's chair, only to be completely dissatisfied with this blotchy, striped, uneven highlights on 4-in long roots.
I went in with finely Blended highlights with low lift 10 volume and did the crown the hairline and the neckline on the sides of the head then hand painted balayage level 5N. It took a while but I got her back to her original honey blonde

In 1978 when I moved from Washington DC back to West Palm Beach I took a little time off and started back to work in 1980, where I met a client that would be in my chair every Friday morning for the next 45 years ! Maybel Lin passed away recently at age 97. She was always loving considerate and kind-hearted. She was so much more than a client when you think about it I probably saw her more than a lot of her family did. I don't know many people who gets to see their grandma or their auntie every week for 40 years 😄, so in saying that she was like family, and I miss her and think of her often. She had a wonderful life and a wonderful family and a great relationship with God.
