In God’s Hands, I Rise

People watch, but never cheer,
Silently wishing I’d stay right here.
They smile, they nod, but deep inside,
They fear the fire I cannot hide.

They know my strength, they see my light,
A gift from God, shining bright.
It’s in my blood, my mother’s grace,
Morals strong, love in place.

They don’t want to see me soar,
Afraid of what I have in store.
But what they want is not my fate,
For God alone decides my state.

I’ve walked through storms, I’ve faced the fight,
Yet never lost my guiding light.
The good, the bad—I give them all,
To Him, my refuge when I fall.

No wrong path will keep me bound,
For in His love, I stand my ground.
With faith so strong, I trust, I know,
That where He leads, I’m meant to go.

No battle big, no valley deep,
Can steal the promises I keep.
I surrender, heart in hand,
For in God’s grace, I firmly stand
