9 curls and that’s it🤘🏻 3 on the left, 3 on the right, 3 in the crown. All curled away from the face. Easy way to add barely there waves to straight hair. Shake out with texturing spray and that’s it🙂

Style out (step by step) ✨

For sections above the ear and nape, leave these straight or just give a slight kick out. This will anchor the hairstyle and prevent it from bouncing up too short with the curls.

Next, curl sections in alternating directions for a softer lived in look.

Cool tip 💡 When you get to the top, lift sections straight up, place the iron right at the root and create a slight bump. Hold it there for a couple of seconds so the root area takes on a C-shape. This will add instant volume and lift. Complete the curl as normal in alternating directions.

To build memory and hold curl I used 6-in-1 Styler by to control frizz and protect the hair from heat. I also mixed in the Volumizing Mousse from Virtue for extra volume and texture! Last, I finished with Texturizing Spray to add a little more density and texture to the hair.
