Hello,

Im beyond grateful to officially call myself the new owner of Texture Curl Bar!

I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to take over the salon, a dream come true for me. I'm thankful for the trust and support that Jiolka has giving me and I'm excited to build on her legacy, while infusing my own passion and creativity. As I embark on this new journey, I'm filled with gratitude for the chance I have to pursue my passion, grow as a professional, and make a meaningful impact on our curly community.

A word from Jiolka:

Hello!

As you now know, I am stepping down as owner and operator of Texture Curl Bar. I would like to thank my friends, family and my clients for your support during the last 3 years. I am leaving with a grateful heart and a huge sense of pride and accomplishment for following my dreams and reaching my goals.

My dream of opening this salon came to me when I had my daughter Emi who has curly hair. I am beyond happy to have been able to create a safe space that our community needed for people with curly hair like my daughter. Opening the first curly hair salon in Berks County will always be something I will be proud of.

I've been asked what my plans are after I'm done at the salon. I will take a step back and spend time with my children and husbad. I will focus on doing things that bring love and joy to my heart.

I would like to also share how proud I am of Bella for stepping up and taking on this challenge. When I approached Bella and asked her if she wanted to take over the business she looked at me in disbelief. But I knew she would be the perfect person to take Texture Curl Bar to the next level. I will always be a resource to Bella, I want to see her succeed and I know she will do incredible things for this business.

As always, thank you for your support I will miss all my clients and all of the incredible people I met on this journey.

We would like to take this time to share some news.

1. Jiolka has decided to step down as owner and operator of the salon. Her last day at the salon will be 8/31. Jiolka will not be accepting new clients but she will do her best to accommodate her regular clients that want to see her before she leaves the salon. Any appointments schedule to happen in August will be completed as scheduled, any appointments scheduled after 8/31 have been reassigned to Bella. To book Jiolka call the salon during business hours as she is no longer accepting online bookings.

2. This is not the end for Texture Curl Bar, instead this is a new beginning. Bella purchased the salon from Jiolka and Bella is the new owner as of August 1st. Bella will continue operating the salon as usual and will continue to offer the same level of service and quality we've always offered. All responsibilities previously held by Jiolka will now be handled by Bella.

We are working diligently to make this transition as smooth as possible, but we do ask that you guys are patient with us during this time.

We would like to formally introduce the newest member of the Texture Team! Her name is Avery and she is a licensed cosmetologist who is passionate about Textured Hair.

For the last couple of months Avery has been going through our training under the supervision of Jiolka and Bella with the goal of becoming a Texture Expert. Avery is kind, talented and a joy to have around. We are super excited to have Avery as part of our Team! 🩷
