Grey reduction happened here. We added more pepper to even out her color that had become very light on top. I used Redken color gels for the opaque coverage and foiled her low lite. Unfortunately I didn’t get a before picture but the concentration of grey was heavy on top so my goal was to add depth with minimal warmth & balance the color.

Hi! I’ve been meeting so many new people and really enjoying being back to work in the salon. One client created a post on a local community page and it was removed. I got a screenshot & thought I’d share it here. I regret not getting photos of her hair color because we really nailed it.

I’m happy to announce that after a few years of being out of a salon I’ve returned to Moxie Salon in West Sacramento. It’s a cute little salon tucked away on Jefferson Blvd close to the highway entrance/exit.

My schedule is open for Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. I have some days marked out for mom duties (soccer games mainly) but will gladly work to accommodate clients.

Brotherly love right here. Twice a year Desmond gets his hair cut/shaped. This time we did his brother’s too. They know exactly what they want & it’s fun to watch the shape emerge as I go

Back to school cut for Beau. He has amazing hair & went from long & shaggy hair in his eyes to more of a mullet with disconnection & lots of texture using a scissor over comb technique & feather razor

Sometimes all your curls need is a little trim.

There’s something beautiful and freeing about being able to change and have movement. I like to use my feather razor when I can to remove what keeps movement from happening. Lots to think about there…
