We do hair and we do it GOOD!!

🚨ATTENTION Sarah’s Customers🚨

After 26 years of working behind the chair, I have made the decision to begin a new chapter in my career as a Cosmetology Instructor with ISD 917 at Dakota County Technical College.

This decision has come with a great deal of reflection and emotion. The salon has been more than a workplace to me—it has been a space filled with connection, trust, and relationships that I will always value. It has truly been an honor to be part of your lives over the years.

While I continue to have a deep love for this industry and the work I do, this new opportunity offers important benefits for my future and my family, including summers off, paid time off, and health insurance—things I have not previously experienced in my career.

With this transition, I will unfortunately need to step away from serving many of my regular clients. This is by far the most difficult part of this decision. Please know how sincerely grateful I am for your loyalty, support, and the relationships we have built over time. They have meant more to me than words can fully express.

I will be maintaining my salon on a limited basis and will continue to work occasionally, primarily for family and a small number of close friends.

If you have an upcoming appointment, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you personally and share more.

I will begin this new role on July 1st. While I feel a mix of excitement and nerves, I am looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunity to guide and inspire future professionals in the industry.

Thank you for being such an important part of my journey.

With sincere appreciation to everyone who has been in my chair over the years,
Sarah🄺

Yesterday I went to United for an ultrasound guided scar tissue removal of my right side (where I had the staph infection after my double mastectomy)
I’ve been going to physical therapy twice a week since June and the therapists have been trying their best to release my horrible scar tissue that was causing me not to be able to fully raise my right arm.
Although the procedure hurt like a bitch and I’m still uncomfortable today, I can fully extend my arm for the first time since March 10th!!
I will continue physical therapy for strengthening and hopefully be done with therapy in a month.

I’m scheduled for my full hysterectomy and will be out of work February 17th - March 5th.
Hopefully after that I can put all this cancer bu****it behind me and move forward with my life again ā¤ļø
Thank you to everyone for the continued love and support.

5th and hopefully final surgery is scheduled for April 15th.
Between Medication conflicts plus the type of cancer I had puts me at a high % for uterine cancer plus having some other issues leaves a no brainer that I have to have a full hysterectomy.
I asked my Dr if we could hold off til after Easter.
Good news is that the recover is only two weeks!!!
By far much easier than any of my 4 previous surgeries. What a relief!!!
Even though the thought of having another surgery isn’t thrilling for me. The thought of having cancer again is a Nope!!!!
