Every Full Moon offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and see our lives through a brighter lens. As the Moon reaches its fullest expression, it illuminates what has been growing beneath the surface, helping us recognize our progress, celebrate what is flourishing, and bring compassionate awareness to whatever is ready for its next stage of growth.

This Full Moon shines in Aquarius, the visionary and humanitarian of the zodiac. Guided by innovation, community, and hope for the future, Aquarius reminds us that each of us has a unique role to play in creating a better world. Across the sky, the Sun in Leo encourages us to express ourselves with confidence, generosity, courage, and heart while leading our lives with authenticity.

This Full Moon is most widely known as the Buck Moon, named for the time of year when young deer begin growing new antlers, a beautiful symbol of steady growth, renewal, and emerging strength.

🦌 Buck Moon (Algonquin) – Honors the season when young bucks begin growing their new antlers, symbolizing growth, resilience, and new strength.
⛈️ Thunder Moon (Various North American traditions) – Named for the frequent summer thunderstorms that nourish the land during this season.
🌿 Herb Moon (Celtic) – Celebrates the abundance of medicinal and culinary herbs at their peak, a reminder of nature’s healing gifts.
🫐 Berry Moon (Anishinaabe and other Indigenous traditions) – Marks the season of ripening berries and the abundance of summer’s harvest.
🍯 Mead Moon (Anglo-Saxon/European traditions) – Reflects the honey harvest and the traditional making of mead during midsummer.

💫 The Bigger Story
The rare planetary Barbeault Basket opened the doorway. This Aquarius Full Moon asks us to take our first conscious steps through it.

Although the Basket reached its peak alignment last week, its influence is only beginning to unfold. Like planting seeds in rich soil, growth happens over time. This Full Moon illuminates those first green shoots, helping us recognize what is beginning to take root, both within us and throughout our world.

Aquarius has always been the visionary of the zodiac. It looks beyond what is and imagines what could be. Under this Full Moon, we’re invited to become active participants in that vision, one authentic choice at a time.

Adding even more light to this remarkable lunation, Jupiter aligns in the very heart of the Sun in an exact cazimi. A cazimi occurs when a planet aligns in the center of the Sun, creating a powerful moment of renewal, clarity, and extraordinary potential. While Jupiter forms a cazimi every year, a Leo Jupiter cazimi only happens once every twelve years. Jupiter is especially strong in Leo, magnifying authentic leadership, confidence, creativity, generosity, and joyful self-expression. Begin with gratitude. Speak aloud three things you are genuinely grateful for, allowing your heart to settle into appreciation before beginning your release.

Next, write down five things you are ready to release. These may be beliefs, habits, fears, patterns, expectations, or anything that no longer supports your growth. Read each one aloud, thanking it for everything it has taught you. Then, safely burn the paper as a symbol of releasing its energy to the Universe.

Now, take a fresh piece of paper and write down three to five things you are ready to call into your life.
