Double cleansing your face is truly essential to protecting your skin’s microbiome, and removing everything from the surface so that your skincare can do what it is supposed to do, rather than sitting on the surface. Your first cleanse will remove makeup, dirt, sweat, dead skin cells and other gunk and the second cleanse should be a targeted cleanser, one that addressed your skin type or chief skincare concern!
